Lilith is the first woman, created by God, and the first wife of Adam. Adam wanted Lilith to be subservient but she refused. She had been created by God as his equal and she would not submit. As a result of her defiance she was cast out of the Garden of Eden and cursed. Lilith has long been demonized and feared by the patriarchy for her act of rebellion. Lilith tells us to take our power back. To stand in our truth, to embrace our dark and our light equally. To not fear our power, the passion that runs through our veins and the judgement of others.
